Over the past 39 years in the real estate industry I’ve learned that leveraging business acumen to meet transaction expectations is just the baseline, not a defining factor.

Real estate unfolds a story in people and each requires (and deserves) a distinguished, yet effective approach to the market. I am notorious for identifying potential added value, for uncovering off-market opportunities, and I’m never above getting my hands dirty. With personal experience in real estate investments and partnerships dating back to 1985, I approach each client's transaction as if it were my own. I am candid in my assessments and in my communication. I've realized for many of my clients, whether purchasing or selling a home, this is an investment - of their time, of their hard-earned money, and in their futures.

With over 300 clients served and the series of conversations that have in time contributed to the very make-up of my own community, I have built adept negotiating skills and a vast network of valuable relationships fit to provide my clients with a competitive advantage. There is nothing artificial in the intelligence I have accumulated over nearly four decades in the industry - rather a deepened appreciation for people and their life’s journey.

My own story began at CU Boulder. In my final semester, I launched an internship program and by leveraging student rental income, I successfully restored and enhanced the value of a property on campus, and found it to be a meaningful investment. I knew then, real estate was setting the foundation for a lifelong career. When I graduated, I got my license, returned to the midwest and took a job with Inland Real Estate Investment, Chicago’s largest landlord where I specialized in selling large apartment complexes. In tandem, I continued purchases and sales, engaged in renovation, moved into remodeling and property management, and began to master intersections within the industry. It was during this time that I found a unique appreciation for my career’s ability to support friends, family, and my community throughout life’s challenges, celebrations, and everything in between as a real estate agent.

Today, I am a proud father of two adult children, Grace and Jack, and continue to be enamored with my best friend and wife, Emily. We share our home here in Boulder with the wildlife Emily continues to care for - bears, fox, squirrels, our cats Yeti and Ahi, and our long haired dachshund named Bucky.

If you’ve made it this far, I’d love to grab lunch or a cup of coffee – I’m far more interested in your story than my own. To keep things simple - here’s my email or phone number feel free to reach out in whatever way is most convenient for you.
